Handsome in Blue

One of my favorite things about newborn sessions is knowing how important they are. As your baby gets older and his or her looks, hair, and size change (what feels like almost daily in the beginning), having memories such as these images will be that much more important to you. Wiliam's Mom and Dad to look back and always remember with great detail how he started out.

Baby William was extremely sleepy during his session. In fact, we tried to get him to wake up at the end to see his eyes, but he was not buying it.

It became quite apparent after this first set-up that Will looked quite handsome in blue!

Neutral set-ups are a common thing that I mix into my sessions. As I was photographing William, Mom found the baby bear hat amongst my collection. Boy am I glad that she did because It was adorable on him!

I think it is safe to say that he was very relaxed during his session. The sleepy smiles and smirks started partway through the session, and I could not get enough of it.

I was so drawn to William's perfect hair and little lips throughout the session. My favorite image is his adorable smirk below in the green. Love those sleepy smiles!
