We love holiday mini-sessions at JNP! This year, we brought the winter wonderland inside, with floating snowflakes and snow at our feet! This backdrop was a hit for kids of all ages. It's simple and timeless yet fun and interactive.

I like to offer clients several set-up options for Christmas mini-sessions: one that is more traditionally “Christmas-y,” one that is holiday-neutral, and the ever-popular bed set-up (but we'll get to that setup later in this blog). Setting up for Holiday sessions is almost as much fun as photographing them! Thank goodness for empty Amazon boxes, am I right? With the addition of a few props from around the studio and a couple of Christmas trees, we outfitted this Christmas morning set up in no time!

The bed set up. Kids love it, and parents think it’s adorable. With fluffy bedding, soft teddy bears, and the opportunity to wear your pajamas, what’s not to love? Don’t want to wear your pajamas? That’s fine, too! We tend to get the most genuine smiles while on this particular backdrop. I’d say it's definitely a fan favorite.
